The Bible doesn’t mention asprin, penicilin, sterilization, blood transfusions, or arterial grafting. It doesn’t talk about brushing your teeth, it doesn’t mention a word about lancing boils.
In fact, the only medical advice the Bible gives at all is wrong.
We know this. We all know this. The Bible is wrong when it comes to science and medicine. Why?
Because it’s thousands of years old and our current understanding of science and medicine have made it completely obsolete.
Here’s the question:
If the Bible’s medical authority is obsolete… why is it still considered authoritative when we talk about morality?
