My friends,

For months now, you’ve seen me and various others “discussing” American politics. Well, it’s almost over. On November 2nd, we will begin the final phase of discovering who our President is. With any luck, it will not involve military action.

But if this election season has taught us anything, I hope it has taught us this:

Liars, crooks, and thieves are currently in charge of our political system. On both sides of the fence.

Voter fraud is high. Public faith is low. Nobody is listening to anyone else because we’re being bombarded by lies and half-truths by both sides. Nobody can make a stand on any issue because of the hate-filled tar-bombs that’ll hit them.

Our system is broken.

But there’s good news. We can change it.

Here in Los Angeles, local talk radio djs John and Ken started a program called “Political Human Sacrifice.” In short, they’ve rallied voters to get rid of a candidate they felt wasn’t living up to their standards. Regardless of what you may think of these two fellows are their politics, they’ve proven something very important:

That voters can make their voices heard.

The local Congressman is now running for his political life. They’ve rallied thousands of people against him. They also claim a large portion of the credit for getting rid of the former California governor (they may be right).

Again, regardless of what you think of these two gentlemen, they’ve proven that voters can change the system.

The system is broken because we don’t care that it’s broken. And the liars, thieves and conmen in office know this. That’s why they can get away with it.

To conclude: your vote counts. More than ever. Don’t just vote for the President. Vote for your Congressmen, vote for initiatives.

JUST VOTE. DAMMIT! THIS IS SO FUCKING IMPORTANT! YOU’VE GOT TO VOTE!!!
