Paladin of the Goddess of Thieves

So, there’s been a lot of talk about someone running a D&D game in the office. Eventually, someone who played L5R at a con with me as GM said, “Let’s get John to run it. He’s like the best GM EVAAAAR!!!”

My boss said, “Yeah. John can run.”

So, I’m running a D&D game. But, with a few minor provisions.

First, they’re all playing thieves. (An idea The Great and Terrible Frog has been running, but one I’ve wanted to do for a very long time.) They’ll be a crew.

I pitched this idea and everybody liked it. Then, little Lady D. — who only comes up to my shoulders — says, “I usually play paladins.”

“You can be a thief-paladin,” I told her. “A paladin of the Goddess of Thieves.”

“Ooo,” she says. “That’s cool.”

“You get to be the heavy,” I tell her. Little Lady D. About the size of a dime. She’s the heavy. Ain’t gettin’ no cooler than that.
