Everyone always talks about what a religious man Jefferson was. Of course, they use the terms “religious” and “Christian” interchangably.
They even talk about how Jefferson wrote his own version of the Gospel. Well, here’s the trick…
… Jefferson took out all the miracles.
… and the Ressurection.
It was a manifesto of Jesus’ philosophy and teachings, not a manifesto of faith or religion. He was interested in the morality of Jesus and couldn’t care less about his divinity.
