It is two in the morning and I can’t sleep. Why?
Because I have an infection in my inner ear. Yes, that means permanent damage. And the pain is awful. The doctor didn’t prescribe anything for the pain and I should have asked. Then again, the drugs he did prescribe set me back almost $200. I don’t think I’d be able to afford any pain killers right now.
I probably won’t be at work for the next couple of days. I’m having trouble standing up right now, let alone drive. The infection is serious, spread quickly, and I need a few days of rest.
